An interesting Sunday morning sail saw four boats rigged and ready to sail, three lasers and one cat.
A nice stiff south westerly wind meant race officers Sally and Bob set the same courses as last week, all very challenging .
The first race was competitive to start, but as the wind built and boats started capsizing, became a bit more hard work, sadly Graham Salter capsized a few too many times and had to retire, does become hard work trying to upright a boat in those conditions.
So three boats started the second race, again winds increased and sea state became harder to stay upright both the remaining lasers capsizing on many occasions both ending up retiring, but very well done to Simon Orde and Cerys Dickinson for taking up the challenge, think they both got just too tired in the end, still was a great day at sea, one bonus, think I have lost my tittle as the hoff to a new safety boat crew in James Scrase, who had no hesitation in jumping in to help Cerys who had turtles and dagger board came out.
Many thanks to all that helped out today, one to remember
